I love the imagery that that line conjures up. It is from the Jimmy Buffett song 'Margaritaville' and it speaks to me of long, lazy days on white, sandy beaches, drinking margaritas (or any other cocktail) and watching life go by.
For the next few days, that is exactly what I hope will happen as I head to Cable Beach, Broome on a work related trip. I say 'work related' because it is through work that I am going there, but there will be little work involved once we arrive. It is a company reward for the hard work that we have done over the last 6 months. There may be a small get together with the company bosses for some congratulatory back slapping, but after that the rest of the time should be our own. Bring it on, I say!
Cable Beach is renowned for it's sunset camel rides along the beach, so I will definitely have to try that out. I will be back at the end of the week. Try not to miss me too much, and don't work too hard (I won't be).
