HNT #32 - Santa Claus Is Coming To Town

He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake!

Christmas has rolled around again, and last year I wasn't a part of the HNT scene so I missed out on the 'gift giving' theme that occurred between participants. Luckily, this year has seen the theme repeated and so I get to play along. To summarise quickly for those not familiar with the concept, we were asked to pick 3 fellow HNT bloggers that we would normally get a gift for and outline what we would get for them if we had the means to do so. Oh what fun! I chose 3 regular reader/commenters to receive my gifts. I hope they like what I got them.

My first gift goes to Ms Inconspicuous from The Seduction of Infidelity. She always leaves comments about how she likes my hands, and I know she finds a hand even more attractive if it has a band of gold on the third finger. For Ms I my gift is a hand, if she needs one.

Gift number 2 is for Dana of Amid Life's Crises. Where I live, some enterprising, tall ladies have formed a Tall Women's Club for women of tall stature to mix with other similarly built women and be able to socialise without feeling like they are standing out in the crowd. Dana has commented on her blog about this and I think she would enjoy a group such as this.

And last, but not least, a gift for a reader who has been with me almost since I started this blog. Amorous Rocker often stops by and leaves a comment or two and I do appreciate that. I don't follow the NHL, but I know she does and her team, the Dallas Stars, came close to making the finals last season and I am hoping, for her sake, that they go all the way this year. My gift, if I could give it to you, is the Stanley Cup and maybe you will get to see the real thing in 2009 as your team parades it through the streets.

For all my other readers, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with family and friends, and a happy, safe and prosperous New Year. I will be away for the next 2 weeks but I have scheduled next week's HNT to appear on the 1st of January (so let's hope it works). I look forward to your continued support in 2009.

And don't forget to pay Os a visit to see who else got gifts for Christmas.

Wednesday Weirdness #29.

1.) DID YOU DONATE ANY MONEY/GIFTS/TIME TO CHARITY THIS YEAR?
I always donate blood every few months which I consider to be a charitable act. I have also put gifts under the Wishing Tree at our local shopping centre and these go to less fortunate children on Christmas day. I am sure I have donated money to various door knockers and tin rattlers throughout the year but i am unable to recall which ones.

2.) WERE YOU IN A HURRY TO GROW UP AS A CHILD? DO YOU EVER WISH YOU HAD ENJOYED BEING A KID MORE?
Aren't all children in a hurry to grow up? Now that I am older I do wish that I had placed more value on being a kid. Don't get me wrong, I loved my childhood but it always seemed like I was waiting for the next birthday, or to get a bit taller, or what ever else it was that symbolised growing up.

3.) WHAT SNACK DID YOU USED TO LEAVE SANTA? DID YOU EVER CATCH A PARENT PUTTING AWAY OR EATING THE TREAT YOU LEFT FOR SANTA?
My sister and I always left a glass of milk and some biscuits for Santa. I don't remember ever catching my parents clearing it away or eating it so it probably didn't happen. All I can remember is being impressed when I found a few crumbs, a dirty napkin, and a sooty cup.

4.) IF YOU WERE NOT RELATED TO YOUR COUSINS, ARE THEY PEOPLE YOU WOULD PICK AS FRIENDS?
I don't have any cousins so this question is a little hard to answer.

5.) WHEN WAS YOUR LAST AWKWARD MOMENT? WHAT HAPPENED?
Right at this moment I can't recall an awkward moment, but there must be one, my life is filled with awkward moments.

6.) WHAT IS ONE GIFT YOU WOULD BE REALLY EXCITED TO RECEIVE THIS HOLIDAY?
The one gift I am hoping is under our tree is 'Guitar Hero', the game. I am hanging out to play that game.

7.) WHEN STAYING WITH RELATIVES/HAVING RELATIVES STAY WITH YOU FOR THE HOLIDAYS, IS SEX A GO OR PUT ON HOLD?
Sex is never a go, regardless of whether friends are staying or not, however, the presence of others in the house, regardless of who they might be, means that there would be absolutely no chance of any sexual activity occurring.

8.) DO YOU HAVE ANY TRADITIONS FOR THE HOLIDAYS? (ie opening one gift Christmas Eve and saving the rest for Christmas Day, opening them all Christmas Eve, listening to a particular holiday CD while opening gifts, preparing a special breakfast, ETC)
No real traditions as such. All gifts are left til Christmas Day and someone is designated as the 'official' present giver (usually one of the kids) and they distribute the presents to the rest of the family.

9.) WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU WOULD BE EMBARRASSED TO RECEIVE AS A GIFT?
I can't think of anything that I would be too embarrassed to receive. I am pretty broad minded.

10.) DO YOU COLLECT ANYTHING?
I find it hard to throw most things away so I have boxes filled with all sorts of different things but it isn't really a collection. For a proper collection I do have quite an extensive assortment of CD's, cassettes, vinyl albums and singles. I love them all and couldn't bear to part with a single one.

HNT #31 - Tinsel Life.

Flipping through my collection
I need the right song for this situation
Too fast or too slow
Too high or too low
He don't know the pain that I know
The soundtrack to my life
-: Squint

No special significance to this week's lyrics, and no Christmas tree either. It was just too difficult to get a HNT shot with the Christmas tree in it so you will just have to settle for me draped in some tinsel. There is some Christmas balls in there somewhere, but I would have to turn around so you could see them. If you really want to see them then click the picture.
The lyrics just seemed to suit my fruitless search for an appropriate song about Tinsel, but not Tinsel Town. In the end, I guess it was the right song for the situation.

Os is the man to see, to find out who else played along this week. I have HNT's planned for the next few weeks but may not get to Os's to leave a comment, so be sure to check back over the Festive Season.

Wednesday Weirdness #28.

1. What is the one sexual act you would never do?
Anything to do with urine or excrement would send me running a mile. I don't see anything sensual in that and it is just degrading to all concerned.

2. Is there anyone you know, that if they turned out to be a serial killer you would not be surprised?
I used to work with a guy who was really creepy and weird. It wasn't anything that you could put your finger on, but I used to get bad feelings about him when ever he was around. Other work mates felt the same way. I don't know what ever happened to him after I left that job, and he wasn't the type of person that I wanted to keep in touch with.

3. What is the most annoying thing about the holiday season for you?
For me it is hanging the lights on the outside of our house. It takes forever, and then half of them don't work once they are up, despite having checked them before hanging them. It is so frustrating trying to find which little globe is the one that is making the other 20 or so not work. I always feel like Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. The only difference being, I don't have to contend with snow but usually it is a hot day and I finish up getting sunburned.

4. If you saw a video of your celebrity crush picking their nose, would that change your opinion of your hotness?
I'd like to think that it wouldn't, but I am sure that it would. Don't we like our celebrities (particularly ones we have crushes on) to be above all that. Anything that makes them seem no different to average people would tarnish the image somewhat.

5. What is the one non-sexual thing you would be embarrassed to be caught doing?
Probably using the toilet would fit into this category. Not that anything abnormal occurs there, it is just something that I think should be kept private.

6. A favorite blogger friend wrote a column about the one word that really turns her on. Do you have a word or phrase that does the same for you? What is it?
"Would you like sex?" usually tends to work for me, particularly if the person asking me is someone I would like to have sex with. Other than that there is no particular words or phrases that 'really turn me on.'

7. As someone who ran a virtual cookie exchange, I have to ask what your favorite cookie is?
Any sort of Choc Chip Cookie would be a favourite of mine.

TMI Tuesday #51

1. What is the greatest age difference between between yourself and a SO? Older or younger?
Greatest age difference would be 2 years, and I was the oldest one in the relationship.

2. What is the greatest age difference between between yourself and any sexual partner? Older or younger?
Probably about 4 years or so and I was the youngest.

3. Have you started your holiday shopping? Is it done?
I have definitely started, but I still have a few more gifts to get. Once again I leave it to the last few days and get caught in the rush.

4. What are the chances there will be a "naughty" present under the tree this year (either from you or for you)?
No chance at all. That ain't never going to happen in this house.

5. What is your favorite holiday song?
I don't know whether it is a Christmas song as such, but my favourite Christmas themed song is "Santa Claus is Coming To Town" by Bruce Springsteen. Traditional Christmas song would be "Jingle Bells" or "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" because I know all the words and they are fun to sing, particularly with kids.

Bonus (as in optional):Do you have a preferred time of day to have sex? If so, why?
I have no preferred time and I will take it at any time of the day or night. Gee, that makes me sound awfully cheap but it is a reality for me. I do have a desire to be awoken by a woman who has already started to have her way with me. I can't ever remember starting the day that way.

Good enough to make you grow

Stretching out your tightness
Time to open up your whole

Wednesday Weirdness #27.

1.) Do you get along with your significant other's parents? If you've never met their parents or if you're single, how did you usually get along with former SO's parents?
I got along fine with both of Mrs A's parents, and would go so far as to say I had an exceptional relationship with her father. Both of them are no longer with us, so unfortunately it is all in the past now.

2.) Have you ever stolen a tip from a table while eating at a restaurant? If you saw someone doing this, would you speak up or pretend you never saw anything?
I have never done this and I think if I saw it happening I would let the restaurant manager know. It would be hard to prove though, as it would be my word against the thief, but i couldn't let it pass unnoticed.

3.) Do you have any sexual fantasies that you’d never admit to anyone?
Of course I have sexual fantasies, but I don't think they are the type that I would have to keep to myself. They are not so perverted or gross that they would freak people out, they are just normal, healthy fantasies. Perhaps I need Dana's 'normal meter' to measure them?

4.) What smells do you find comforting?
I always find the smell of fresh laundry to be a comforting smell. I think it reminds me of my Mum and how I used to help her hang the washing when I was a boy. I also like the smell of pipe tobacco. Not so much when it is smoked, but the smell of it in it's packet and as it is packed into the pipe bowl. My Dad and Grandfather both smoked pipes and the smell takes me back to happy times.

5.)
Do you ever resent your significant other for not earning more money? Do you ever find yourself jealous because your SO earns more money than you?
No, not at all. All income helps to sustain the household and pay the overheads of family life so it doesn't matter who earns the money or how much they earn as long as there is enough to pay our way.

6.) If you had to wear a Halloween costume for 3 hours a day, ever day, for the rest of your life, which would it be and why?
I have no idea. Halloween is not big in Australia so I haven't got a clue about Halloween costumes and what is available, and what is acceptable. I'll have to give this one a miss.

7.) Have you ever had sex with someone and kept a piece of their undergarments or anything else for any reason? Have you ever had someone want or try to keep something of yours?
No, I have never kept anything for any reason and can't really see the point in it. I can't imagine having a 'trophy cabinet' full of underwear from past lovers. It just sounds a little weird. I don't think I have had any of my items souvenired either. If I have then it has occurred without my knowledge.

TMI Tuesday #50

1. Do you consider sexy underthings a present for you or your partner?
I would consider sexy underwear to be a present that is best enjoyed by both the giver and the receiver. Surely that would be the whole point of giving sexy underwear as a gift?

2. What are 3 characteristics of "your type"? Have you best relationship(s) been with your type or when you have gone against it?
This question has been asked before and I didn't know what 'my type' was back then, and I still don't have a clue. Perhaps someone can enlighten me.

3. What is on your Santa list this year?
I haven't really given much consideration to a Santa list this year. I will just be appreciative of what ever I receive, and thankful for the fact that someone thought of me.

4. Generally speaking, who has historically had a higher libido, you or your partner(s)?
That would be me. Mrs A's libido is almost non existent.

5. The unsculptured female bush seems to have passed from fashion. What about men, do you think they need to trim and shave "down there"?
To be honest, I don't really care whether men trim or shave "down there" because I am not interested in that area of men. However, I do keep myself trim and partially shaved. I believe that if a woman wants to pleasure me in that area then it should be neat and tidy so she can find her way around and not have to contend with a jungle and a mouth full of fur.

Bonus (as in optional):What are a few of your favorite things (both sexual non-sexual)?
Sexual Favourites:- Hot, passionate kisses, Oral sex both giving and receiving, the Complete abandonment of wild fucking, and Cuddling in the afterglow
Non-sexual Favourites:- include the smell of fresh coffee, thunderstorms, the ocean (and the beach) in winter, marshmallows, dark chocolate, getting caught in the rain, freshly mown grass. There are many others, but these are top of the list for me.

HNT #29 - I Touch Myself.

I don't want anybody else
When I think about you
I touch myself
I don't want anybody else
Oh no, oh no, oh no

Wednesday Weirdness #26.

1.) If you knew one of your close friends was cheating on their significant other, would you get involved? (EX: Tell their SO, try to talk to your friend about it, etc) Why or why not?
No, I wouldn't get involved. I would hate it if a friend knew about my affairs and tried to get involved, so I think I would just stay out of it.

2.) If your SO was cheating on you and one of your close friends knew, would you want them to tell you? Why or why not?
I don't think I would want to know. If I don't know about it then it doesn't hurt me. Maybe I am just being an ostrich and burying my head in the sand, but sometimes it is easier that way.

3.) Have you ever stuffed your bra or underwear to make the size of your breasts or penis seem larger?
Can't say that I ever have. What would be the point. If the person you were trying to impress finished up being impressed and wanted to sleep with you, how embarrassing would it be to have a sock fall out of your undies, or tissues out of your bra?

4.) Would you sleep with a friend's significant other behind their back if it were guaranteed you'd never be caught?
Absolutely. If no-one was ever going to find out, then count me in.

5.) Do you think you are more intelligent than your significant other?
It depends on the subject. We both shine in different areas, so there are some topics that she is way smarter than me in.

6.) Do you ever fantasize about cheating on your significant other? Are you ever tempted to really go through with it?
I have fantasized about it, and I have gone through with it. It is too late to shut that door, the horse has well and truly bolted.

7.) Have you ever had cyber sex, text sex or phone sex with someone other than your significant other during a relationship?
No. None of the above, either with a significant other or with someone else. Am I missing out on something? Would someone like to educate me??

8.) Would you cheat on your significant other twice monthly for half a year to have all your debt permanently erased?
To erase debt permanently? Hell yeah! I've done it for a lot less. Having said that though, it would depend on who I had to cheat with. I have standards and there are some people who just don't meet the grade.

BONUS! Have you ever fantasized about having sex with any blogger friends? Would you be daring enough to reveal five of them?
That would be a Yes. I'm not sure that I would reveal them because I am not feeling that brave at the present time. Maybe if you email me I will let you know if you make the cut ;)

TMI Tuesday #49

1. What are your turn-ons?
Regular readers will know that I love eyes. Dark, smouldering eyes that promise pleasures not yet imagined, or eyes wide with innocence and expectation. I can usually find something to like about a woman's eyes. Accents also turn me on and there aren't too many accents that fail to get my attention. Spanish (or Latin American) accents are my favourite, usually because the woman concerned will also have wonderful eyes, dark hair and tanned features.

2. What are your turn-offs?
Smoking, body odour, and rudeness. Not in any particular order, but it is amazing how many times you find all 3 in the one person.

3. Not counting your turn-ons, what's the best trait a person can have?
To be a good listener. Communication is a 2 way street and sometimes all you have to do is shut your mouth and listen to the other person. It's not a difficult concept, but it is one that so many people fail to grasp.

4. Not counting your turn-offs, what's the worst trait a person can have?
Being too opinionated. Unfortunately I work with several people who don't mind sharing their opinions on life, the universe, and everything. Yes, we all have opinions about lots of things, but we don't want to hear your opinion on every little thing followed by a detailed discussion on why it is the right opinion and nobody else's opinion matters.

5. What's your biggest pet peeve?
Cell phones ringing at inappropriate times, and then people answering them. Are you that important that you can't turn your phone off in a movie theatre? And if you answer it, do you really need to discuss your plans for the weekend during one of the quieter parts of the film?

HNT #28 - The Whole World

Wednesday Weirdness #25 - Thanksgiving Edition.

Apologies for the blandness of this week's answers. I haven't experienced a Thanksgiving so I don't really know what it is all about.

1. What are you thankful for this year?
I am thankful that I met my girl earlier this year, and I am also thankful that we have sorted out the mess that contributed to last week's HNT.

2. Since some of our participants are not in the US, what do you think about Thanksgiving?
I don't have any real thoughts, positive or negative, about Thanksgiving. As an American holiday it would be as special to most Americans as some of our Australian holidays are to Australians.

3. What is your favorite part of the holiday/ your least favorite.
I haven't experienced Thanksgiving so I have no favourites or least favourites. I am pretty sure that some NFL games are played on Thanksgiving, so anything that involves football on a holiday would win my vote.

4. Mashed Potatoes or Sweet Potatoes?
Definitely mashed potatoes. I'm not a big fan of sweet potato.

5. Do you own eating pants? Describe.
I have no idea what 'eating pants' are so I would be fairly certain that I don't own a pair. Perhaps someone can explain them to me.

6. What is your favorite thing to do with the Thanksgiving leftovers?
Any leftovers usually taste just as good the following day, either cold or reheated.

7. Who are you most looking forward to seeing? Least?
My girl would be the person I am looking forward to seeing the most. No-one fits into the least category.

8. Do you go shopping on the day after Thanksgiving?
No, I don't. Does something special happen at the shops on the day after Thanksgiving?

Tuesday, November 25, 2008

TMI Tuesday #48

1. What is your favorite Thanksgiving food?
We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Australia so I don't have a favourite food for it, however for a celebration of any sort it is hard to go past a roast dinner. Roast beef or pork would be my favourites, but lamb, chicken or turkey will do just as well.

2. You can flip a switch that will wipe any band or musical artist out of existence. Which one will it be?
Just off the top of my head I would say Coldplay because they play such lifeless music with whining lyrics (in my opinion) and I fail to see how they are as popular as they are. I also wouldn't mind if Michael Jackson was standing close enough to get taken out as well. He never set my world on fire and I see him as a freak.

3. You seem to be having an excellent day because you just came across a hundred-dollar bill on the sidewalk. Holy crap, a hundred bucks! How are you gonna spend it?
I would head straight for the music shop or the book shop. I'm sure I could easily spend $100 on Cd's or books.

4. What is your favorite curse word?
Fuck! I say it all the time and that is not a good thing when there are 2 young children in the house. Trouble is, I have been saying it for so long now that it is hard to break the habit.

5. Rufus appears out of nowhere with a time-traveling phone booth. You can go anytime in the PAST. What time are you traveling to and what are you going to do when you get there?
1969. Woodstock. The era of free love and all those great bands, Santana, Hendrix, Joe Cocker, CSNY, Jefferson Airplane, and The Who. What's not to like about that line-up? And not to mention the free love, or did I mention that already?

Bonus (as in optional):You accidentally eat some radioactive vegetables. They were good, and what's even cooler is that they endow you with the super-power of your choice! What's it gonna be?
Invisibility. How much fun could you have with the power of invisibility? The possibilities are endless.

HNT #27 - Scarred for Life

I fought tooth and nail, every inch of the way
I got scars...to prove it
I was in love for keeps that time
But rock'n'roll was still on my mind
She was young and true and so full of life
And the pain went deep, I was scarred for life
I was scarred, I was scarred, scarred, scarred
Scarred for life
-Anderson, Riley, Royal (Rose Tattoo)

I have a few scars on my body from various incidents and accidents. This one on my leg is probably one of my more visible one and is part of a collection of scars I got when I tried to climb some wet sea cliffs at night after having had a few too many alcoholic beverages. I was lucky I didn't kill myself.
However, physical injuries are not the only things to leave scars. Emotional traumas can also leave scars, and while the wounds aren't as visible they are still real and just as painful. I'm sure we all carry those scars somewhere deep inside us.

Today's HNT is a last minute replacement for one that I had already put together. This just seemed more appropriate given the events of today. I won't elaborate on the details except to say that a misdirected email has left me with another scar to add to my collection. You can't see it, but it's there and it hurts like hell.

Just like climbing cliffs at night, I should have known better.

For more HNT participants, go see Os.

Wednesday Weirdness #24

1.)
Have you ever taken your clothes off for money?
No, I haven't. Actually, I don't need money. If you ask me nicely I'll do it for nothing, but you've got to ask nicely.

2.) Are you a morning person or a night owl?
These days I am not much of either, however I would prefer a late night to an early morning. Some people say that mornings are the best part of the day, that is why I like to leave them to those who can appreciate them.

3.) Do you take any kind of medication daily or regularly? If so, what?
No. All I take on a regular basis are some health supplements like a vitamin pill, glucosamine, and fish oil tablets. I don't think they count as medication.

4.) Do you ever have naughty thoughts about any of your friends significant others?

Doesn't everyone?? I have naughty thoughts about lots of people I meet, including friends SO's. I thought everyone did this. Apparently I am mistaken.

5.) What are your favorite comfort foods?
Chocolate and coffee. There isn't much that can't be made a bit easier with a cup of coffee and some chocolate. Where would we be without those 2 wonderful beans?

6.) Would you rather direct a porn or star in one?
Either. I'm not fussy. Starring in it could be more fun as I think I would enjoy the hands-on stuff more than just directing it from a chair. But if the directors job was all that was available then I wouldn't complain.

7.) Have you ever seen a "donkey show"? Would you ever be interested in seeing one?
I've never seen one and probably wouldn't be that interested in seeing one. Stuff involving animals just doesn't turn me on. I wasn't even sure that donkey shows existed. I thought they were just a myth to trap unsuspecting tourists.

8.) On a scale of 1 to 10, how gullible of a person would you say you are?
I'd be an 8 or 9. These days I am too cynical to be easily conned. I stick to the adage that seeing is believing, and if it sounds too good to be true it usually is.

TMI Tuesday #47

1. When did you last use your cellular telephone as a flashlight?
I can't say that I have ever used my mobile phone as a flashlight. I actually don't use my mobile phone for anything much at all, including making calls. I find it more of an inconvenience most of the time.

2. On a scale from 1-10, how comfy are you being naked?
About an 8. I am quite comfortable being naked and nudity, either my own or someone else's, doesn't offend me. The only time I might find it uncomfortable to be naked would be if it was a public place and I was the only one out of many people who had shed their clothes. I think that would cause me some embarrassment.

3. What is the longest you've ever been celibate after having lost your virginity?
Hard to remember exactly but it would be quite a while. In my late teens and early twenties there would have been long periods between girlfriends when I wouldn't be getting any action.

4. Have you ever had sex in a car? If yes, since you were a teenager?
Yes. As recently as last year I used to meet a lady at lunchtime near a park and we would have sex in her car or mine. It was a lot of fun, although on warm days it could get quite uncomfortable and sweaty in the back seat of a car.

5. When did you last use food or drink as medication?
Not for a very long time. Many years ago I used alcohol on occasion to help forget bad events, or at least numb the pain, and as a 'nightcap' to help me sleep. Those days are long since passed and these days I very rarely drink at all. I can't say I have ever used food as a medication.

Bonus: Name three words that:
a) get you excited - Wanna have sex? (when some asks me)
b) make you squirm - Can Hubby watch? (I've never been asked this but I wouldn't be comfortable with it)
c) make you laugh - Achmed dead terrorist. (I recently watched a comedy routine by Jeff Dunham featuring Achmed the dead terrorist, and just the thought of it makes me laugh)

HNT #26 - Push The Button.

If you want to take, if you want to give
When you find a meaning, you’ll find it short-lived
The gifts and opportunities that come or go or stay
The buttons there for you to push are only in the way

Buttons so vivid, your soul could seem gray
The world all around you entices you to play
Come on! Come out!

You have a choice to make

The push button glows in wait….
- The Stolen Babies

I struggled a little with ideas and time this week so this was the best I could come up with. Thinking caps on for next week.

Os is the HNT master so why not pay him a visit.

Wednesday Weirdness #23

1.) When was your last visit to an emergency room? What happened?
Last visit to an emergency room would have been several years ago when my daughter broke her leg falling off her scooter. Luckily it was a small country hospital and the only doctor lived right around the corner so we had prompt, almost personal, service, unlike when we went to get her plaster removed weeks later at a major suburban hospital and had to wait hours.

2.) Who do you look more like: Mom, dad or another relative?
I would say neither, but if I had to pick one I would say I take after my mother more than my father.

3.) What sounds annoy you?
Mobile phones ringing at inappropriate times. In movie theatres for one. Didn't they read the sign that said 'Turn off mobile phones' ?

4.) What are three movies you could (or have you) watch(ed) over and over and still love?
One of my favourite movies of all time is "An Officer and A Gentleman". I have seen it so many times and I still watch it if it comes on TV. Another favourite that I have lost count of how many times I have seen it is the original "Ghostbusters". "Apocalypse Now" and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" are also movies that I have seen many times over. When I was younger, RHPS used to screen every Friday night at midnight at a cinema near where I lived. A group of us used to go every now and then just to see the die-hards who came dressed in costume, and to be a part of the whole rice throwing, water pistols and chanting experience. Ahhh, happy days!!

5.) Do you ever wish you were someone else?
I can't say that I ever do. There are times when I am not so happy with my lot in life, but I am not so sure that anybody else's lot is any better. Having said that, it couldn't be all that bad waking up next to Megan Gale every morning so maybe some lots are easier to bear.

6.) What do you think of when you think of Paris?
I haven't been to Paris, but I know someone who has and they weren't particularly impressed with it. They told me that there were lots of dogs wandering the streets and so you had to watch where you stepped because the dogs left 'calling cards' everywhere. That has now become my vision of Paris and I don't have much desire to go there. Perhaps readers who have been there might be able to tell me different.

7.) What' s the last sporting event you watched?
The last sporting event I watched live was the last home game of my football team in August. Unfortunately we lost like we did most games last season. The last sporting event I watched on TV was the baseball World Series, unless WWE counts as a sporting event and then it would have been Raw or Smackdown. (I do consider WWE as a sporting event, but I know some people don't see it that way)

8.) What do you think about sexual Role Playing?
I don't think there is anything wrong with sexual role playing. I approve of anything that takes place between consenting adults. Unfortunately, I haven't had much (any) experience in sexual role play, but it is something that I would love to experiment with. Now I just need to find another consenting adult.

TMI Tuesday #46

1. Ever been skinny dipping?
Sure. Skinny dipping is fun, and it just feels so good. I used to do it all the time up til about the age of 20, then only on the odd occasion. Now, I can't remember the last time I went skinny dipping which obviously means it was too long ago.

2. How often do you kiss or make out without it simply being a foreplay activity?
These days, the answer to that question would be never. A few years ago I met a woman and we didn't have anywhere to be intimate so we would often go for a walk in a park, find a bench somewhere quiet and just make out for a while. It was lots of fun, and that would have been the last time that I got to do that.

3. On a scale of 1-10, how content are you with your life? (1 is lowest, 10 is highest) Do you think 'content' and 'happy' the same thing?
I would say between 7 and 8. There are things I would like to change that would increase the score upward but I don't think it will occur anytime soon. I don't think 'content' and 'happy' are the same thing. 'Content' to me means happy to put up with or endure, while 'happy' means, well, happy. Usually happy people are content people, but content people aren't always happy.

4. What do you do to relieve stress?
Very little. Usually it builds up inside doing God knows how much damage to my health. I try to read or listen to music to relax and I guess that helps to relieve stress. If I get really stressed I will often go for a run, and just run to the point of exhaustion, which tends to distract the mind from the stress because you can't think of anything else apart from how knackered you are.

5. What was the special trait in your first lover that made you decide that they were "the one?"
Probably the fact that they were willing to have sex with me on a regular basis. As a horny teenager, all other criteria would have come second to that one.

Bonus: How old were you when you first had sex? (positive experiences here...)
I would have been 17 or 18, and it was a relief to get that first one out of the way. I wondered if it was ever going to happen. I've detailed the experience in a previous TMI.

HNT #25 - Welcome To The 60's

Hey mama, welcome to the 60's
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh mama, welcome to the 60's
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Go mama, go, go, go!
- Shaiman and Wittman
from the Hairspray soundtrack

I know that this week wasn't an 'official' theme for HNT, and Os made it clear that BTE was not interested in seeing male boobies, but in the interests of community spirit (and because I couldn't think of another idea for this week) I have gone with the 'Boobies for BTE's birthday' theme. Like 'em or leave 'em, there they are and I hope that BTE had a wonderful birthday and that he gets to see a lot of boobies that are better looking than mine.

And don't forget to visit Os, the master of all things HNT.

Wednesday Weirdness #22

1. If you were in a situation where it was either starve to death or resort to cannibalism, would you resort to cannibalism to stay alive or let yourself starve?
Really hard to answer without having been in the situation, but if the alternative was to starve to death then I think self preservation would kick in and I would resort to cannibalism. The people would have to be dead already because I wouldn't be able to kill them. Given that they were dead then I don't think they would mind too much if I had to eat them to stay alive. Who knows, they might even taste like chicken?

2. Do you know all of the words to the National Anthem and The Pledge of Allegiance?
Not the American National Anthem or The Pledge of Allegiance but I do know the words to the Australian National Anthem - Advance Australia Fair.

3. Do you consider yourself a leader or a follower?
In general, everyday life I would probably be a follower. I would like to think that in a crisis situation I would be able to take charge and be a leader, but who knows until such an event occurs?

4. What is your most favorite holiday? Why?
Christmas. I have enjoyed it far more since I have had children. I love the build up to the big day, decorating the tree, writing wish lists, and counting down the sleeps. I love the anticipation in their faces as they go to bed on Christmas Eve, and the excitement in their eyes the following morning as they open their presents. That along with our 2 week holiday over Christmas and New Year make it the best time of the year for me.

5. In what ways, if any, are you superstitious?
I am not at all superstitious. I used to be but I have broken the habit and the belief that certain actions have good or bad consequences just because of folklore or tradition. I don't even subscribe to a belief in horoscopes anymore.

6. If you had to pick a creature from the Mythical Creatures Guide to be your pet, which would you choose and why?
A dragon would be a really cool pet but might be a little difficult to control. It would be fun to turn it loose on people who piss you off. Imagine the look on their faces! Pegasus, the winged horse, would also be a fun pet. No more traffic jams, just jump on your horse and fly to where ever you wanted to go. And it probably wouldn't be much different to care for than a 'normal' horse.

7 Things About Me (or How Shibari Took My Virginity)

TMI post is below this one.

My virginity has been broken. It has never happened before, but last Thursday on my HNT post Shibari tagged me. My first tag in a little over 12 months of blogging. Thank you Shibari, I will try and do your tag justice.

7 Things About Me.

1. My star sign is Sagittarius, although I really don't believe in Astrology or star signs.

2. As a child, I always wanted to be a pilot, right through til late in high school when my maths ability (or lack of it) meant that I wasn't going to make the grade.

3. I am not religious and don't believe in God (any god), heaven or hell. This is in complete contrast to when I was a child and had a strong faith.

4. I love to travel, but find that I am a much more nervous flier than I ever was when I was younger.

5. I am the oldest living member of my family. Both my parents, and all my grandparents are deceased so I am top of the family tree. (not always a pleasant thought).

6. I have a fear of ladders. I hate ascending or descending ladders and my legs shake almost uncontrollably. It is not the height that bothers me as I can quite easily climb up or down using something other than a ladder. I'm not sure why this is because I can't recall having had an accident or incident involving a ladder. Does anyone know the name for a fear of ladders?

7. I always try to please people, often to my own detriment. I'm not sure why this is but it may have something to do with low self esteem. Other people's acceptance of me matters a great deal to me even if that person means nothing to me. Seeking that acceptance often results in disappointment and feelings of rejection. It also makes it extremely hard to refuse requests even if they are unreasonable.

I'm not sure if I am supposed to tag anyone, and if so how many, so I will leave it up to you to decide if you want to have a go at this. If you do, please let me know so I can pop by and check out your answers.

TMI Tuesday #45

1. Have you ever had a moving violation? An auto accident? That was your fault?
I have had a few speeding tickets in my life, but until quite recently I hadn't had one for many a year. Earlier this year I failed to notice a sign advising a change to a lower speed limit. I also failed to notice that there was a policeman waiting a few hundred metres beyond the sign. Unfortunately (or fortunately, which ever the case may be) he made his presence known to me and also pointed out that I had failed to slow down once passed the sign. He wrote me a ticket as a reminder to pay more attention when driving, and I assured him that I would. As for accidents, I have been involved in a few, none serious and none were my fault.

2. Have you ever voted? How old was your were you the first time you voted?
Voting is compulsory here in Australia for both Federal and State elections, so Yes, I have voted on a number of occasions. Failure to do so results in a fine.

3. Are you glad this election cycle is over?
The US presidential election seems to have been going for ever. It has even occupied a fair slice of news time here on the other side of the world. I will be glad when it is finally over (regardless of the result) just so I don't have to see Obama's face on every news bulletin. Having said that though, I guess I should be prepared to see him for at least the next 4 years.

4. Do you have guilty pleasure? What is it (or are they)?
One guilty pleasure I have is the occasional glass of Highland Park Scotch Whiskey. I very rarely drink but I do indulge in the odd nip of this extremely pleasant beverage. I can't describe the beautiful smokey peat and honey flavour as it slides across the tongue and then warms the body on a cold winter's night.

5. What is the most embarrassing thing you have done recently?
I don't recall having done anything that has caused me embarrassment recently. I'll have to pass on this one.

Bonus: How much impact has the Wall Street and general economic wilt had on you?
Not a lot to date, but I am sure the flow on effect will impact on us all in the form of higher prices and rising unemployment. One negative effect which springs to mind is the Aussie dollar being worth less compared to the greenback and this has cancelled out a lot of the benefits of falling oil prices. Still pain at the petrol pump.

HNT #24 - The Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead

Peter Pumpkinhead put to shame
Governments who would slur his name
Plots and sex scandals failed outright
Peter merely said
Any kind of love is alright
But he made too many enemies...
Peter Pumpkinhead was too good
Had him nailed to a chunk of wood
He died grinning on live TV
Hanging there he looked a lot like you
And an awful lot like me!
-Andy Partridge (XTC)

Trick or treat? You decide. Halloween isn't a big deal here in Australia, but I couldn't resist having a go at a Halloween themed HNT this week. Luckily I had this Jack O' Lantern novelty that I picked up on a visit to the States and so I put it to good use. As an added bonus, it fits in nicely with the XTC song that I chose to accompany the picture. I hope you like it.

Wednesday Weirdness #21

1.) As an adult, do you do anything for Halloween or is it just another day?
Halloween is not big here in Australia so for me it will be just another day.

2.) Do you ever dress up for Halloween? What will be your costume this year?
Same answer as above. I think it would be fun to dress up in spooky costumes though, and I love the way some people decorate their houses for Halloween (they are sometimes featured on our late night news bulletins, and of course there is always the internet). Maybe I will have to visit The States in October to experience 'trick or treat'.

3.) Have you started Christmas shopping yet? When do you usually begin?
No I haven't. Probably mid November I will start seriously shopping although I already have a pretty good idea what I will be getting for the kids. The problem with shopping too early is trying to find places to stash the presents, and then trying to remember where that good hiding spot was, months later.

4.) Do you look people in the eye when talking? Does it bother you when people don't make eye contact during conversation?
I generally try to make eye contact with people when I am talking to them. People who don't (or can't) make eye contact usually have something to hide.

5.) What excuse do you usually use when you want to take a day off work for no real reason?
If I need a day off and can't negotiate it then I would phone in sick. My 'illness' would either be a migraine or a stomach bug. I hardly ever do this as my employer is really flexible (within reason) and it usually isn't a problem to get some time off, even if it is only an hour or so.

6.) How often, on average, do you find yourself thinking about sex per day?
How many minutes are there in a day?? That's about how often I think about sex. Just lately it seems to be on my mind the whole time. Do you think I might have a little unspent sexual tension??

7.) What company makes your favorite brand of shoes? What makes them your favorite?
I don't have a favourite brand of shoe unless we are talking about trainers. Then I have a preference for either Nike or Reebok simply because of the comfort and support they give. Having said that, I am currently wearing a pair of Adidas Goodyear to the gym and I find them excellent to run in. So I guess I don't have a loyalty to any particular brand.

8.) Do you ever save alcohol bottles once they are empty?
I used to, many years ago. I wanted to collect different types of beer bottles, but in the end it takes up a lot of room and I couldn't see the point in keeping empty bottles anymore so I got rid of them. Now the bottle goes for recycling as soon as it is empty, not that I drink that much these days.

9.) Do you enjoy musicals?
Generally, no, however there are exceptions. Rocky Horror Picture Show is one such exception. Other exceptions elude me at the moment (if in fact there are any more exceptions) and I tend to avoid musicals like the plague.

TMI Tuesday #44

1. Who and when was your first crush?

The first crush that I can remember was when I was at primary school in year 6. Her name was Kathryn and she was in my class. She also lived in the same street as me, only at the other end. I thought she was the nicest, and prettiest girl that I had ever met. Unfortunately, I was very shy so I don't think I ever spoke to her, I just admired her from afar. Toward the end of that year we moved house and I went to another school, so I never saw her again.

2. Who and when was your first date?
I would have been about 15 when I went on my first proper date. By 'proper date' I mean it was just somewhere that the two of us went to and I had asked her to come with me, as opposed to just meeting someone at a friends place or at a local hangout. We went to the movies in town and my Mum dropped us off and picked us up again afterwards. I don't remember what film we saw, but I do remember holding hands and kissing a lot in the darkened cinema. Her name was Trish and we went on a few dates together.

3. Who and when was your first kiss?
My first kiss from a girl that wasn't related to me happened when I was 15 on the train coming home from school one day. She kissed me and I remember it really made me tingle all over. I don't remember her name, but I was keen on her for quite a while after. It turns out that she had only kissed me as a dare, and she didn't really like me at all. Any guesses what that did for a teenager's self confidence?

4. Who and when was your first partner while "fooling around" in car?
First partner in a car was Yvonne. She was my girlfriend at the time and we used to go to the drive-ins every weekend regardless of what was playing. We had some great times behind those fogged up windows in the back seat of my car.

5. Who and when was your first partner while "fooling around" in a house?
Beth was the girl I first fooled around in a house with. We were both at college and had time during the day when we didn't have any classes so we would go back to her house or mine for an hour or so because either place was empty while our parents were out working.

6. Who and when was your first love?
The first girl I think I really loved was Alison. We 'went out' for quite a while and it took me a long time to get over her when we finally broke up. I was 18 at the time.

Bonus: Who's blog did you first comment on?
I think the first blog I left a comment on was We're Only Animals. It is no longer active and hasn't been for almost a year now.

HNT #23 - Fortune Teller.

Went to a fortune teller
To have my fortune read
I didn't know what to tell her
I had a dizzy feeling in my head

She took a hold of my palm
She said "Son you feel kind of warm"
And then she looked into a crystal ball
She said "You're in love"
(Neville)

Go and visit Os for more HNT fun.

Wednesday Weirdness #20

1. Is there a particular birthday that you are dreading (eg: 40th) why?
No. I don't have any fears or phobias about reaching any milestone birthdays. To me it is just another year older, and age is really just a state of mind. I have met young people who are old beyond their years, and older people who live life as if they were much younger.

2. What is your favorite birthday memory?
My 21st birthday was a favourite of mine. I partied long and hard into the night, and was still going the following morning when the sun came up (unlike most of my guests who had either left or crashed for the night). Plus, I got to 'score' in the back seat of my car with a girl I had been keen on for a while. She must have felt generous on account of it being my birthday, because it never happened again and shortly after that she started going out with my close friend.

3. What was the best birthday present you ever received? The worst?
No particular present springs to mind as being the best, or worst. Any gift can be the best ever if it is something that you have wanted for a while, or are really appreciative of receiving. And I don't think of gifts in terms of being not very good. If someone has taken the effort to select a gift for me then I am grateful that they took the time to think of me at all.

4. Frosting roses: Love them or hate them?
I will admit to not knowing what frosting roses are, so I don't really have an opinion on them one way or the other.

5. Do you like when people make a big deal out of your birthday, or do you prefer a quiet or no celebration?
No question about it. A quiet one with no celebration at all. As long as those people whom I love, or am close to, remember then that is all that I care about. I don't have any real need to make my birthday a big deal.

6. Surprise parties; Good or Evil?
Definitely evil. I detest surprise parties, and I have threatened my family that I will walk out if they try to spring a surprise party on me. I know some people think that they are great, but I am just not into that much recognition and celebration.

7. Bonus Question: Over at Casa ASM, it is traditional for the birthday boy or girl to get carte blanche in the bedroom that night. Who and/or what would you choose for birthday bedroom carte blanche?
Well nothing like that ever happens over at the Apple Residence. However, if I was able to choose a who and what for some birthday bedroom celebrations then I would choose my girl (you know who you are) to join me for a night of unbridled passion. It wouldn't matter really what we did as long as we could be together for the entire night to enjoy each others company and pleasures. Actually, we might have to take the next day off work because I don't think either of us would be capable of putting in a full 8 hours after a night like that.

TMI Tuesday #43

1. Have you ever felt guilty or ashamed after a sexual experience?
The only time I can recall having some guilty feelings after a sexual experience was after my first infidelity with Eve. That was the first time that I had been with a woman other than my wife in all our years of marriage. I didn't get a major attack of the guilts but I did feel some guilt for a little while after. Obviously it wasn't enough to prevent me from going forth and repeating the experience with other women.

2. Did you ever own a fake ID?
I have never had fake ID and never needed one. It wasn't until I turned 18 (legal drinking age where I come from) that I started getting asked for some proof of age in licensed establishments, even though I had occasioned them since turning 15. I used to hang out with some older boys and I think that that was enough to get me into such venues. I never flaunted the fact and used to keep to the dark back corners to avoid scrutiny. Truth be told, I was only there to watch the bands and a drink was only a side element to that.

3. How often do you tell white lies? Is it with or without thinking?
I tell white lies all the time to Mrs A. to keep her from knowing what I am up to. They would be white lies that I tell, knowing that I am telling them. Apart from that, and my infidelities, I am basically a very honest person and other people get the straight up truth.

4. On a scale of 1-10, how well do you receive constructive criticism?
I don't tend to handle criticism of any kind particularly well. I may fair a little better with constructive criticism, but generally I take it all personally even though I know I shouldn't and that that is not how it was intended.

5. Have you ever shaved your pubic hair?
Yes. In recent years (probably the last 5 or so) I have taken to shaving the hair from my balls and from around my cock. I like to think that if a lady wants to pleasure me in that area then she doesn't want to have hair interfering with the process. On the flip side, I don't really care whether my partner is shaved or not, although shaved is visually more appealing and provides less obstruction.

Bonus: What percentage of women do you think are capable of handling being in a "friends with benefits" relationship? How about men?
I wouldn't have a clue as to what the percentages might be, but I do know from personal experience that it is difficult to keep emotion out of a purely physical relationship. While the concept of a "friends with benefits", "no strings attached" type of relationship might seem like the ideal situation, I think in reality there would be few individuals who would be able to keep it as just that. Perhaps I am wrong though and maybe other people think differently. It will be interesting to see how other people answer this question.

HNT #22 - Waiting For A Girl Like You.

I've been waiting for a girl like you
To come into my life
I've been waiting for a girl like you
A love that will survive
I've been waiting for someone new
To make me feel alive
Yeah, waiting for a girl like you
To come into my life

Yesterday was my 100th post. I had planned to do something like '100 things about me', or something similar for this milestone post but it appears to have slipped by unnoticed by everyone, including me. My 1st blogiversary also came and went while I was trekking in the Andes. Not to worry, perhaps I will still do the '100 things' post in the near future. Now all I need to do is think of 98 other things to go with the 2 things I have thought of so far. Perhaps 100 things is not such a good idea after all. Let's wait and see...

Wednesday Weirdness #19

1. If you could only eat one fruit for an entire year and that fruit would magically be in season and ripe that full year, which fruit would you choose and why?
I am not really a big fruit eater. I much prefer vegetables and salads. However there are a few fruits that I am partial to and my choice would come from one of those. Bananas I quite like but I don't know if I could eat them all year round. Apples are nice and there are lots of different varieties, as well as different ways to eat or cook them so they could be my fruit of choice. But I think I would opt for strawberries simply because they are so yummy and always remind me of warm summer days. As an added bonus, I think they are quite romantic and I wouldn't mind getting to share some with a special someone if the opportunity arose.

2. What is something that makes you sad?
At the moment I am finding it sad that distance, and other circumstances, are keeping me from getting to know someone I really care a lot about.

3. What would you do if you came home from an extended vacation and found that someone else was living in your house?
It would depend on who the someone was. In fantasy land, if she was an attractive female who fancied me then I am sure we could come to some arrangement that would allow her to stay on. Anybody else would result in legal action being taken against the offending persons.

4. What US President, alive or otherwise, would you like to have dinner with?
I don't know too much about US presidents either alive or dead so my choices would be limited. Bill Clinton springs to mind so we could discuss what really happened with those interns, the cigar, and the stains on the dress. Another choice would be Abe Lincoln because he is such a fascinating person from history and had a lot to do with shaping the way America is today.

5. What is your opinion on multitasking while driving? (Reading a book or work documents, changing clothes, fixing hair, applying make up, shaving your face, et cetera)
I am not in agreeance with it. I think the drive should be concentrating on the task at hand, ie driving the car, and not be concerned about other things that they have to do. Diverting attention from the road to perform other tasks is the cause of many accidents.

6. Do you ever multitask while driving? If so, how often would you say you are guilty of it?
I don't multitask while driving. The most I will do is change a CD or drink coffee from a non-spill cup. I have a hands free kit on my phone but I still find it to distracting to use and usually let calls go to message so I can answer them later.

7. Do you tend to be early, on time, fashionably late or LATE to work and work related events? Do you tend to be more or less punctual for non-work related events?
I like to be punctual, but I don't like getting somewhere too early and having to wait til it gets started. For meetings and work related stuff I try to get there about 10 minutes before the start so I have time to get settled, but don't have to wait around too long. I think it is rude of people to habitually run late. Everybody gets held up occasionally, but don't make a habit of it.

8. What is a quirk your significant other has that you would define as "cute"? If you have no SO, what is a quirk you find cute in a potential SO?
Mrs A doesn't have any quirks, and if she did I don't think any of them would be cute. She is just not that sort of person.

TMI Tuesday #42

Finally, I am back from a wonderful trip. It has taken a little longer than I had anticipated to get back to my blog. This is because of the sheer volume of work that was waiting for me on my return, and the fact that I came down with the flu a day or two after getting home. Both of those problems are now hopefully behind me and I can get back to a 'normal' routine (whatever that may be). So the first thing in that routine would be TMI. Click HERE if you want to see what it is all about.

1. What do you do that sends a clear signal to your partner that you're interested in an intimate evening?
These days I don't even bother trying to send signals to Mrs A. If I did then they would be ignored or I would receive a rebuttal that would indicate that I was wasting my time. Intimate evenings occur at her request, and moments such as those don't come around all that often.

2. How important is foreplay to an exciting evening?
I love foreplay and consider it to be an integral part of any intimate evening. The foreplay begins long before there is any physical contact as the flirting and suggestive talk set the foundation for the intimacy that is to follow. As for physical foreplay, sometimes I just wish it could could continue forever because there is nothing better than being with that special someone and sharing some 'teasing and pleasing'.

3. What is the first thing you do during foreplay or what is the first thing you like done to you?
The first thing I do is kiss my partner. A passionate kiss does wonders for kick starting an intimate encounter. It would also be the first thing I would like done to me, so I am quite happy to kiss for a while before we start to explore further.

4. Are you a one and done kind of partner (20 minutes or so) or do you like intimacy sessions longer than 60 minutes?
Time constraints usually make longer sessions impractical and impossible. However I would love to have the luxury of time so I could indulge in prolonged lovemaking with my partner. But then again, there is nothing wrong with a 'quickie', and those brief, stolen moments can be as fulfilling as any all-night session.

BONUS: If you are interested in sex with a same-sex partner, what would be the first thing you'd like to touch on that other person, and why? (For those already in same sex relationships...what was the first thing you touched, or if you were interested in a relationship with the opposite sex, what would be the first thing you touched?)
In a relationship with a member of the opposite sex, the first thing I touched would be her face. I would hold her face as I kissed her, and then my fingers would trail off to her neck, ears or hairline, just exploring different areas.

I Love To Go A Wandering...

This will be my last post for a few weeks. You may remember earlier in the year I asked for suggestions about visiting either Brazil or Peru. Well I chose Peru and tomorrow I leave for a week of trekking in the Peruvian Andes. This will culminate in a visit to Machu Picchu, the lost city of the Incas. This is somewhere that I have wanted to visit for so long that I can hardly believe I am going there. After that, I have a week long conference in another South American city and then back home for the start of October. I'll look forward to catching up with you all then.

Wednesday Weirdness #18 - Weight Watchers Edition.

Wednesday Weirdness for this week on the subject of bodies and weight. Oh boy! What a topic. Don't get me started on body image issues. If you want to play along then click HERE.

1. Are you happy with how much you weigh? Why or Why not?
My current weight is not too bad (about 75 kgs). If I could, I would like to weigh maybe 5 kgs more, but only if it was muscle and not fat.

2. Have you ever been at a weight you are happy with?
Yes, I am happy with where my weight is right now. I have been a little heavier and I have also been a lot lighter, but neither of those was a weight I was particularly happy with.

3. Are you currently on a diet now? If yes, describe.
No. I don't subscribe to diets. I believe in eating healthy foods all the time (although the odd indulgence in chocolate or fast food never hurt anybody) and taking everything in moderation.

4. What is the craziest thing you have ever done to lose weight?
I have never had a situation where I have had to lose weight. Generally I am on the light end of the scales anyway, so I have never had to do anything crazy to lose weight. The worst weight loss situation I have had would be when I was quite sick about 10 years ago and I lost an unhealthy amount of weight just through the illness. It is not something I would recommend.

5. What is your favorite thing about your body?
Ummm!! I don't really have one, but if pushed I would say that my legs are OK.

6. What is your least favorite thing about your body?
Only one thing? Gee, I wouldn't know where to start. I have always thought that I look too thin so I would like a bit more meat (muscle) on my bones, but it seems I don't have the right type of body for building lean muscle easily. Also, my facial features always appear crooked to me so I hate looking at pictures or videos of myself. And my hair never sits right. It grows in different directions and always looks messy no matter what I do with it, so I tend to keep it cut short. Another thing ... I had better stop here or this post could go on forever as I discuss my short comings. I told you I had body image issues.

TMI Tuesday #41

The questions for TMI this week are posted early enough for me to answer them in a separate post. If you want to participate, or just read the other responses, then click HERE.

1. Describe the perfect date for YOURSELF... what you would enjoy most.

The perfect date for me would be one that involves good company, good conversation, a flirtatious atmosphere and the promise of things to come. Of course, those promised things could come later in the night or on a later date, it all depends on how well things are going.

2. Do you lean more toward being submissive or dominant?
Probably submissive. I do like to please my partner and I don't mind if they want to take control and direct proceedings. Having said that, I could also be more dominant with my partner if that is what she wanted. Perhaps I don't so much as lean one way or the other, but more sway depending on the mood.

3. What do you usually wear to bed?
I prefer to sleep naked, or with just a pair of boxer shorts on. However, Mrs A. doesn't approve of sleeping naked (that is why pyjamas were invented) in case the children see something that they shouldn't, so I usually wear PJ's at home just to keep the peace.

4. Have you ever seen a counselor?
Yes I have. I won't discuss how long ago, how many times, or what it was for, as that could be a whole other blog just on it's own.

5. Lights on or off?
With Mrs A. it is always with the lights off so I have become quite skilled at navigating by touch alone. If I had a choice it would be with a little subtle, mood lighting to add effect. It is wonderful to look into your lover's eyes while you are making love, and glimpses of her naked body are a powerful aphrodisiac.

Bonus (as in optional): Bonus: Have you or a partner ever faked an orgasm?
I have never faked an orgasm, and I am not sure how a man could fake one. The only person I know who faked an orgasm with me was a girlfriend I had when I was about 19. I didn't know she was faking at the time as I hadn't had a lot of experience with women then, but she used to come just like girls from porn movies, lots of moaning and thrashing about. I used to love it, but later on when I thought back on it, I now believe she was faking it and porn movies were the only reference she had. Perhaps she didn't want me to feel inadequate because I hadn't 'got her there'.
